Chameleon kid(gen) 7/10

This game is a killer. It's a loooong one, but you don't get codes to start from midway and so on. That means each time you turn off the console, you have to start all over again. I don't post a score for a game I haven't completed(actually I only did reviews here for selective games as well, definitely not all), but very old games, I do not mind that because by length they are not very long like today's 50-70 hours, so the amount of time I spent is usually enough for me to determine whether I think it's a nice game or not.

Back to this one, the same as most 2d action adventure games, you run, pass obstacles, defeat enemies/bosses. You get various icons whereby this kid can change forms(therefore the chameleon word stuck to the title of the game). The difficulty level is set on high, not extreme, but definitely very high...when I was 10 years old or so. I wouldn't want to know how difficult it is for me now, because I have had enough of this game back then that years passed and I still cannot get over the nightmare to pick it up and play it again. period. It is an innovative game with interesting features to say the least. But it's not a game for the casual gamer. Oh, but my mum liked playing this game. =D

Adventure island (nes) 6/10

Another game from when I was 6. You play as a baby, going through stages(with bosses of course), and through the process picking up various items(such as skates, well that one is fun). Let's just not go into things like story, characters and so on, these things play almost parts of naught in the ancient gaming history. it can be enjoyable at first, but continue playing this gets repetitive. Challenging? maybe. Fun? I don't know, running into small rocks due to rather poor and unprecised controls(it's not really that bad) and dying is not really fun, but it's a decent game overall, just a certain amount of practice required.

Super mario bros(nes), 8/10

When was that? When I was 6 years old...yeah. Almost everyone in the family had a try at it. It's fun, let's just say everything worked the way it should, graphics, music and whatnot, what more can you ask for back in those days when other kids are still playing with dough and cooking toys?  It may be pure run, jump, avoid enemies and obstacles, but it's fun. And for the record, why not check this out?
