We are in actual reality free. The freedom we have is unlike what anyone or anything else gives. We can speak all things if we want to, we can do all things if we want to. We are neither bound by rules or principles set by people or places or circumstances, because when the Son makes us free, we are free indeed. 

But freedom misused serves no good, not for self, nor for others.
