Unless one understands the details regarding God's holy nature, human's sinful nature, and Jesus' death on the cross and resurrection, you will always get stuck on the misconception that Christians are proud morons who think they are holier than you and that Christianity is discriminating of other people's religions. Furthermore, street evangelism is not old or ineffective as compared to other forms of evangelism, because God doesn't get more modern as the world gets modern. He is the same always, and those whom He called, whichever method he chooses for them to evangelize with according to His will, will always be for the good and pleasing to Him, even if "modern" people call it street peddling.
